Julian founded Vision Capital in 1997 and is its Chief Executive.
Previously, Julian was the Managing Director of H&M Partners, a corporate finance boutique that he co-founded in 1991. From 1988 to 1991, he was Deputy Head of European Investment Banking at Smith Barney, where he was responsible for all private markets activity and business development. From 1983 to 1988 Julian worked in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, corporate finance advisory and structured financing. Julian graduated from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics.
