JDR Cable Systems, a supplier of subsea power cables, umbilical systems and marine cables, is to be granted a Queen's Award for Enterprise 2010 in recognition of its success in international trade between April 2006 and March 2009.

The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are given for outstanding achievement by businesses in innovation, international trade and sustainable development.

To be awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade, a company must show a substantial and sustained increase in export earnings over three consecutive 12-month periods.
